Critique Appertaining To Books My Bad Tequila
"My Bad TEQUILA" held my attention right from the first page. Austin is an amazing story-teller...as a self-journey told in a showing fashion of just the right amount of details. Many of us have our story, but it takes having a gift to write about it in an intriguing way. Congratulations Rico!

This is one gut wrenching, raw, and riveting read. Austins descriptions have you right next to him and you feel his pain. I could see the scenery on his travels, I could taste the food and yes, the tequila. I could smell the foul air of the bars and casinos. My Bad Tequila is a very good book that will have you turning page after page until you reach the end, not realizing how much time has passed. I was absolutely blown away by the ending. Its not often a book like this ends with my tearing up,

Met the author at a book fair in Arizona.

My Bad TequilaBuenos Dias Amigas y Amigos: Listen carefully: For those of you that think going on Spring Break and a drinking binge is the right way to celebrate when school is out. Think Again: My Bad Tequila is not about a drink gone sour or a wild night with friends. It is about one mans journey dealing with many difficult situations that turned out to be not quite what he expected. Author Rico Austin brings to light in this very innovative, unique and different novel in the voice of the

Most of us have experiences in life we wish we could forget, or did because of alcohol-induced blankness. Austin calls these bad tequila moments, as imbibing in that particular libation seems to have more bad consequences than others. This novel, loosely based on his real-life experiencesor those he can remember anywayis his bad tequila moment. When a young jock on a college football team is cut and down-on-his luck, he is given the opportunity to travel to Mexico with a group of students and

I would give this book zero stars if I were able. Seriously, one of the worst books I've ever read in literally every aspect. The narrative is disjointed and rambling. The sentence structure is terrible (I'm assuming this book was self-published, because if it had a professional editor, that person should be fired immediately) and the use of language is laughably bad, with rampant misuse or repetitive use of words (for example, a quote that the author apparently CHOSE to excerpt for the Amazon

Solid, I think somewhat embellished,auto-biography of the remarkable life of Rico Austin. The story itself is a rollar coaster ride of good and bad choices that dictated the direction of Mr. Austins life. Although a bit stylistically crude at times, it does keep your interest and you do want to find out how things turn out. The book will make you wonder "what the hell is Rico thinking" about a dozen times in his life's story. Overall, its a pretty good read.
