Interpretation In Favor Of Books The Warrior (Brotherhood of the Sword/MacAllister #7)

Lochlan MacAllister was born to lead. Ruthlessly groomed to take control of his clan, he has given his life to his people. But when he learns that the brother he thought was dead might still be alive, he embarks on a quest to find the truth.

Catarina wants a life of freedom. But now Catarina's royal father wants to use her as a pawn to ensure a treaty between conflicting lands. So much so that he's willing to kidnap his daughter to force the issue. But when she escapes, fate throws her into the path of a man she loathes.

Lochlan is stunned to find the shrewish Cat being hauled away by unknown men. Unwilling to see even her suffer, he frees her only to learn that she has her own demons to fight. When their fates intertwine, two people who know nothing of trust must rely on each other, and two enemies who have vowed their eternal hatred must find common ground, or see their very lives shattered.

Crit Appertaining To Books The Warrior (Brotherhood of the Sword/MacAllister #7)
I RARELY COMPLAIN ABOUT KINLEY MACGREGOR BOOKS AT ALL, BUT THIS ONE WAS JUST AVERAGE...THE PLOT DIDN'T GET ME INVESTED AND THE CHARACTERS WHILE LOVELY, WEREN'T INTRIGUING.OUR HERO is the Laird of his clan and the last official MacAllister brother that finally gets his happy ending. Lochlan is not like his brothers, but also a combination of them all. But, he leans toward the serious side of things and no one can blame him because of the responsibility weighing upon his shoulders. Despite being

A very entertaining read. I couldn't put it down really. The three star review is mostly for the first 3/4 of the book. In this part it progressed like a normal story...it's the ending I had a huge problem with which is why it's not a 4 or 5 star review. This book was not as good as I had hoped - I loved the previous books in this series. However, I felt like this one was a quick, patch attempt to tie up the MacAllister Series. There were so many characters from previous books that I couldn't

The Warrior is the last installment in the Brotherhood/MacAllister series and I must say she made sure this series went out with a bang. Lochlan MacAllister is the Laird of his clan and with all his brothers married with children he realises he is the only one who can find his brother Kieren who was presumed dead for years. Lochlan sets out on his quest and finds himself in France where he runs into his sister-in-laws cousin Catarina. Cat is a free spirit who wants to live her life on her terms

Okay, let me say that I love this series, and was really excited about Lochlan's book. It was good for the most part, but the ending was horrible. I really hope this isn't the beginning of her mixing the series with the dark hunters. I love her dark hunters and I love her historicals, but not together. It was really cheap and wrong for her to do that to her readers.

I really like this series, and have been reading them out of order, but still can keep up pretty well. I know from other reviews that some had problems with the end and/or the epilogue. I kind of liked the idea, but there was a small aspect that was disturbing, although to relate that here would spoil it. The actual end before the epilogue was nice with a clever twist. I didn't, however, like it as much as Taming the Scotsman, which is actually the book before this one, and the one I started

*Disclaimer- I did not know this book wasn't the first in a series when I started reading it, nor did I realize it was more romance than anything else when I picked up as a travel read. These two things may factor in my opinion.Pretty quickly into the book, I realized that I wasn't reading the first book in a series, considering how Lochlan's brothers' and their wives were being mentioned (which also clued me into how much more of a romance this book was than initially thought), but most series
