Judgment Based On Books Flightless

Can I like and hate this book with equal measure? Because that's the way I feel.I was curious and the main reason I didn't give up was also because I was curious. It had some good elements but it also had so many things that were unnecessary to the story. Though I think I understood where the author was trying to go, the execution wasn't that great for me.

This book from start to finish pulls at all the delicious strings I LOVE in a book. I felt everything through these chapters I never wanted to say goodbye. Flightless, by L. Duarte, is one of those books that just grabs ahold of your heart and doesnt let go. You dont really even know when it happens. I didnt anyway. But by about the half way point, I realized that the characters of this book had taken over my mind and my heart, and I wouldnt be able to rest until I finished the book to see how their story ends.
