When Ilia discovers he’s run to the one place she’s running from, she’s forced to face her most painful memories back in her hometown, Bearwood.

But Nathaniel is keeping secrets and as they begin to unravel, instead of running away from him, Ilia finds herself falling for him. When his last secret is revealed Ilia’s past comes together in a way she never imagined and she’s left with only one option: trust Nathaniel to help her kill Sol, or risk relinquishing her new found strength thus causing catastrophic and devastating consequences for her and everyone she loves.

I enjoyed this book more than I expected to. There were a few grammatical errors that always made me pause, but it wasn't enough to keep me from wanting to read the next book in the series. I would've liked a little more background on Lana, but maybe that will come in a future book. This is one of those books that grabs you by the throat with the first sentence and refuses to let go. While paranormal romance is not my favorite genre, this one hooked me and held me all the way to the end, then left me wanting more. Bravo! The characters, especially Ilia, the leading lady vampire, all have both breadth and depth, the handiwork of an obviously gifted author. It's hard to believe this is her first novel. She displays an extraordinary expertise and deftness in her craft as she
*** 4 Stars ***Ilia is a kickass vampire wanting revenge on the one vampire that ruined her life. She doesn't care if she isn't strong enough to defeat Sol. She's willing to die just to get her chance. But over the centuries, her search ends up empty.Although she has been looking for the enemy, she has been trying to avoid another. Kyle was Ilia's first love, but they have a painful history that's hard to get past. I found Kyle a little immature and sometimes annoying, but he had a lot of good

>Book Review Fractured Immortal - > I received this book from the author and Paranormal Romance and Authors that Rock. I am an independent reviewer. This book is the first novel in the Bearwood Series.>Ilia is a vampire returning home. She has spent the last 2 hundred years searching for the vampire who killed so many in her hometown. She has also spent that time running from Kyle, an ex lover. As Ilia and her friends plan how to take out vampire Sol and a nasty witch, Nathaniel and
As always, this is not a spoiler-free review. Loooove me some good vampire fluff mixed with brutal angst and a smidgen a lot of violence -- that's what you'll find in E.L. Wicker's "Fractured Immortal". The first book in what I assume will be a series, or at least a two-parter, is a great kick-start for Wicker's writing debut. Feisty, fun, and fulfilling, it's engaging in all the right ways. The author isn't afraid to veer between devastating darkness and the possibility of light, and I was
I was lucky enough to win this book from a giveaway the author was running but I would happily have paid for it. I absolutely loved this story :) It is a really different take on the vampire theme and I loved the modern feel to it. Ilia is a brave female main character and I loved her for her ability to be both fragile and kick-ass ;) I thought all the characters were very well-drawn and the author made me like the main group of friends around Ilia very easily. Well, I did find Kyle quite
I received this book in exchange for an honest review.Wow, just wow. I really really loved this book! The characters were all very likeable and genuine. the author did a great job building the world around them , and bringing the story together. There are a lot of twists and turns, which I love, and E.L. Wicker really keeps you guessing throughout the story. Ilia is searching for the man that ruined her life. When she discovers hes run to the one place shes running from, shes forced to go back
