Those of you who know me most likely also know that I am at best ambivalent about romance novels and at worst find them atrocious. Even so, Only Love is an enjoyable, quick, fairly tasteful bubblegum book. It does not provide much depth, as far as probing the human heart, but Segal has his moments of insight. Aside from the infernal love of fragments that so many modern authors share, the writing is decent.

Amazing book, the master storyteller has woven magic again. I won't suggest anyone read the summary to read the end beforehand. Journey to the end is a must. It is impressive how music and science are characters in themselves.

Very light and beautiful story. After reading you still hang about with that light pang that you have after knowing the things that happened to someone you know.

Actually '3.5' stars...I didn't care for this book as much as 'Love Story' 'Oliver's Story' or 'The Class". I read this back when I was about 14 and thought it was so romantic. It also inspired me to want to someday do one of those medical missions to a third-world country. So I thought it might be fun to read it as an adult. It wasn't quite so impressive this time around. This compelling, all-consuming love wasn't based on anything, just on that intangible, inexpressible SOMETHING that happens when you're soul mates. That irritates me. And then I didn't feel satisfied with how it ended. So if you're
