This book is the personal journey of the author, more fact than fiction, detailing her life as she seeks spiritual enlightenment.Maybe it's my British sensibilities but I begrudge trawling through 8% of personal endorsements of the author before I get to the story and the style, for me felt like a sales pitch. If you're at a stage of your life where you are looking for answers or new paths to try, this book might be for you but just not my cup of tea.I was unsure as to my rating of this book. It is well written and it has plenty of merits but my personal experience differs widely from this authors. Thus my 5 * rating. This is a personal story of how a woman grew spiritually, although the author is a reverend she never preaches. She inspires and I loved that about this book. This is a really good read and I think, if this is your genre that you will also love reading it. Note, it is not the type of book you read in one go. Rather you read a
First off, I want to make sure that others know that I'm fairly biased in Patricia's favor, but I also don't automatically give my clients five-star reviews. I'm as honest as I can be. I edited this book, and I think it came out wonderfully, so here's why:It's part-memoir and part-spiritual journey. The story starts when Patricia meets a man that she feels incredibly drawn to. But as the years pass, a traumatizing event causes Patricia to reevaluate her life. The story winds through the subjects

This is a beautiful and true story and I could not put this book down from start to finish. I completely related to the authors personal journey towards finding her life path and living her Dharma. The real life narrative is rich, honest and compelling. I was brought to tears at times while reading. The message here is so important. If only we could all understand and live with the knowledge that we are not alone here and that healing, help and guidance is available if we just ask for it. The
I read this, thinking me and Dorothy are no longer in Kansas. Angels with red shoes? Really. So at first I did not take if very seriously until I got so engrossed in this woman's journey that I forgot all about the Wizard of Oz. This may not reflect my own beliefs but it does reflect a passionate belief system and a way to the Lord....in the end the manner you get there does not matter much. This book deserves every single 5* it gets. Mine included.
