I think I read this when I was in primary school, 4th grade to be exact. We were discussing mythology in our history class and our teacher recommended it to us. Of course I think I was one of the three people who actually read it but at the time I was low on books and I have to admit that the legends of Gods and Goddesses always fascinated me.

The book totally did a number on my young and impressionable mind, and I think I managed to read this whole thing in about a week, which you have to admit, for a 9 year old girl it's pretty quick. That's how much I enjoyed it.

Carte copilăriei și adolescenței mele.

Pentru mine "Legendele Olimpului" a fost o lectura extrem de captivanta, la vremea ei, adica in scoala generala. As recomanda-o cu caldura oricarui copil intre 10 si 14 ani, cu atat mai mult cu cat, in prezent se ecranizeaza foarte multe astfel de "legende". Cartea contine si o serie de elemente precise dpdv. istoric, desigur imbinate cu mitologia greaca si istorisite cu talc. Cel putin pe vremea mea, aceasta carte era nelipsita din bibliotecile copiilor, era "la moda" ca sa zic asa.Cateva

Mi-a plăcut foarte mult cartea dar cred ca primul volum a fost mai interesant decât al doilea.Oricum pe al doilea nu l-am terminat dar sper să-l citesc cât mai curând.A trebuit sa citesc cartea ca și lectura suplimentară pentru vacanța de iarna și pot sa spun ca mi-a ocupat ceva timp,însă tot răul spre bine,nu?

Even if it is a book that was demanded for school (and I hate reading something that I must, not that I choose), it's a great book about old myths with gods and heroes. It's really worh it.

Mi-a placut la nebunie volumul cu zeii, mai putin cel cu eroii. Pe atunci credeam ca e mai cool sa fii zeu decit erou. Eram in clasa a 4-a si citeva colege ne daduseram nume dupa zeite. Mi-am disputat "Atena" impreuna cu Roxana. Nu mai stiu cine a cistigat. :D

Tot ceea ce vrei sa stii despre mitologia greaca. Ar trebui sa faca parte din cunostintele generale a tuturor cititorilor. A must-read!
