Awesome, awesome books! Scandalous!
This series is so vivid in describing the wealthy living in NYC during the 1900s. It reminds me of an old world Gossip Girl. It is a great balance of history, romance, and suspense. The characters are all developed very well and are greatly woven together to form a wonderful series. Great read!
Escapist "girl" trash but I couldn't stop reading until I finished the final book called Splendor.
Easy to read young adult fiction. It's a turn-of-the-century Gossip Girl. A soap opera set amongst high society New York in a time of glamour and excess. I just couldn't wait to find out what was going to happen next!
4 stars because I read them quickly, so they must've caught my attention somehow. I didn't love the ending, however.
