This is one of those books that assumes you live for your job and are willing to devote your life 24/7 to climbing the corporate ladder. You know the kind. I don't know how I got this book or why I began reading it.That being said, it is as others have described; a bit much in some areas. (the section on personal appearance did irk me.) However, the book does offer many small bits of useful information that I feel we could all use to get ahead not only at work, but also in other areas of life as well.
