Description In Favor Of Books Sea of Lost Souls (Oceanus #1)

Freedom lies on the open sea. Danger lies within it.

Rachel Goldstein dreams of the vast oceans, and her job in the Navy seems to offer her everything she’d ever hoped for. Her heart seeks adventure, but her mind is still ashore, where the last time she saw her parents, they had a fight that left everyone in tears. She wants reconciliation… which becomes impossible when she dies in a tragic aviation accident aboard her aircraft carrier.

When she wakes up aboard a ghost ship, her new shipmates offer Rachel her only chance to seize adventure again, and she knows what she must do. Aboard this impressive and fearsome vessel is her opportunity to find new freedom — if she can survive it. The ghostly high seas are fraught with danger, from devious officers to murderous pirates. And lurking underneath it all is Scylla, the mythological monster set to destroy anyone who encroaches on her aquatic territory.

Normally ready for anything, Rachel will have to find out if she's stronger than her enemies and the beasts that lie below the waves. And at the end of it all, can she pierce the veil of death and reach through to the world of the living, and to her parents?

Criticize Containing Books Sea of Lost Souls (Oceanus #1)
This was a wonderful story to read. This is book number one in this start to a brand new series and I really loved reading it. I can not wait to read the next book in this wonderful series.

Surprising I wasnt really expecting to enjoy this book but it surprised me. The storyline was original and the heroine almost underplayed but well scripted. In fact the whole book was well written and worth reading.Id have enjoyed it even more if there had been a more obvious hint of romance, but maybe that will develop in later books.I will certainly read more by this author

WOW!!!I don't know what to say, except... What an amazing, crazy, wonderful, wild trip reading this book took me on. Emerald, I can't wait to read more of your books, heading to Amazon to grab another as soon as I finish this review. Absolutely loved it.

An action-packed novel! Very enjoyable. The characters are likeable and relatable. Would recommend to anyone!!

So started the sample a while ago, just actually borrowed the book on Amazon recently so yeah. I liked this one, once I got into the swing of things. It was a different take on being transported to a whole new world, than what I generally read. Everybody is dead. It was interesting to walk with them through the realization and the acceptance of that fact. You could understand how they were feeling. Although Rachel got a bit redundant with it. Still, it was an interesting world and a great story.

This was an amazing book. I couldnt put it down. I loved reading about a Navy nuke Rachel Goldstein and all the adventures she has with her crew. Definitely want another book in this series. I loved the paranormal aspects of this book.

As a recent victim of a fatal accident, Rachel Goldstein finds herself aboard a ghost ship that has picked her up because of her technical skills. Being dead isn't exactly restful as there are immediate and more subtle threats to her existence and that of her varied companions. This was an easy book to read. The story is straightforward to understand. It's told completely from Rachel's perspective, and I didn't feel lost at any point. There's a heavy focus on action, interspersed with more
