4/5THE KARMA CLUB was very reminiscent of THE LONELY HEARTS CLUB, but instead of just "giving up boys until the end of high school", these girls take it upon themselves to payback those who have wronged them to "balance out recent Karmic imbalance" . . . though the members of The Karma Club also vow to give up boys until the end of high school.Very fun, very cute, The Karma Club really just delivered exactly what I wanted at the time - something light that didn't require my brain to work tooCute, fast read. Something I really would have enjoyed at 16.
Jessica Brody's first YA novel, The Karma Club, is absolutely terrific. She wove a tale about Mason Brooks, a girl who is cruelly dumped by her boyfriend of two years. Her two best friends also have been dumped by their heartless boyfriends.
